Exploring RGB Light Shades: The Details of RGB Technology
RGB technology can be quite intricate. There are many subtleties to understand when exploring RGB lighting to truly get the full picture.
The way RGB lights appear on a dark surface is different from how they look without one.
Consider a visual display such as a TV or a computer screen that’s off and therefore black. To create a maroon color on this screen, you would dim the intensity of the red light by fifty percent.
The underlying blackness of the screen combines with the red light to give you maroon. Each color has numerous tones that can mix well with either a white or a dark background.
It’s important to understand that lighting systems like Trimlight and other pixel-based lights do not have this black backdrop. This means they’re unable to reproduce every shade that might appear on digital displays like computer monitors or televisions.
Understanding RGB LED Codes: Searching for the Ideal Color Shade
We have put together a selection of color codes for RGB systems to help you identify precise colors.
Certain shades require BLACK to achieve the correct tone, whereas others can be accurately created without using black.
Just to let you know, if you want BLACK, it actually means turning the lights off. But since Trimlight bulbs have a natural White/Clear appearance, creating black as a color choice isn’t possible.
Although Trimlight doesn’t promise to match every color in their system exactly, this list can help users find some hues that might be hard to pinpoint.

Highly recommended
Honest guys that do great work! The lights themselves look fantastic, and you can’t tell they are there during the day!

Great Decision
Brandon, Mark and Lonnie Were amazing to work with! I was quoted an install time and they were able to install over two weeks before that, making it in time for my Christmas party!

Just Perfect
A great business from all sides. Brandon came out to the house and looked over and measured everything. The color of the tracks matches the house perfectly. Mark came out today and installed everything… lights, tracks, control box and all wiring.
